First the licence in plain words, then the full text. If the two ever seem to differ, the full text applies.

In plain words

It doesn't expire. You pay once for your edition, and the version you own keeps working. If our licence checks ever stop, we'll first ship a free update that removes them. The optional V LAB Club is the only thing that renews, and only if you join it.
1, 3 or 5 Macs.Creator activates on 1 Mac, Studio on 3, Agency on 5. New Mac? Free the old one first: ask Claude there to deactivate your V LAB Studio licence, or email us.
The licence works offline for 14 days. The first activation needs the internet. After that, it checks your licence at most once a day and keeps working offline for up to 14 days after the last successful check. Making a video still needs Claude, which is online.
Your videos are yours.Use them in ads, on your store and on every social platform. Personal use and your own business are covered on every edition.
Client work: Agency.Making videos for paying clients needs Agency's client licence, which also gives you client brand kits.
Music and sounds included. They come from our own library and are cleared for the videos you make with V LAB Studio.
Club packs stay.Templates, sounds and 3D packs you received in the Club stay unlocked after you cancel. They never unlock a bigger edition's library.
Don't share or redistribute it.No sharing your key, and no reselling or giving away the plugin, its templates, its 3D kit, its sound library or Club packs.
Don't take it apart or train on it.No reverse engineering, except where the law allows it, and no using the templates, the kit's source code or the library to train AI models.
Bring only what you have rights to.Logos, photos, footage, music and voices you add must be yours to use.
Companies of 4+ people.V LAB Studio is built on Remotion. If your company has 4 or more employees, you need your own Remotion company licence.
Claude Desktop is Anthropic's.V LAB Studio runs inside it, and we can't control how future versions change. That's what the 12 months of compatibility updates are for.

This Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Vlad TUDOR, trading as V LAB (entrepreneur individuel (EI), micro-entreprise · SIRET 988 992 160 00016), 119 avenue Gabriel Péri, 92260 Fontenay-aux-Roses, France ("V LAB", "we", "us"). It forms part of the Terms of Sale and Use. By installing or using V LAB Studio, you accept it. If you buy for a company, you accept it on the company's behalf.

1. Definitions

2. Licence grant

Once you have paid for your Edition, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence, which does not expire, to install and use the Software on up to 1 Mac (Creator), 3 Macs (Studio) or 5 Macs (Agency), with the features of your Edition, and to make Outputs with it, for your personal use and for your own business. The Software uses activations to count your Macs: each Mac you activate uses one, and freeing a Mac (section 8) gives its activation back. You may make backup copies of the installer for your own use.

3. Commercial use

4. Outputs and your content

As between you and us, you own the Outputs and everything you bring in (text, logos, images, footage, music, voices). We claim no rights over them. The Templates, the Kit and the Library remain ours or our licensors'. You may use them inside your Outputs, including commercially, within the limits of your Edition.

The Library's music and sound effects are made by us or released under licences such as CC0. You may use them in your Outputs, commercially within your Edition. You may not extract them from the Software and use, sell or share them as standalone files, or as part of another library, template pack or product. Music you add yourself is yours to license.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you bring in, and for how you use your Outputs.

5. V LAB Club

The V LAB Club is an optional monthly subscription that needs an Edition. While you're subscribed, you receive the Club Packs released each month. Club Packs you received while subscribed stay unlocked after you cancel, under this Agreement and the limits of your Edition. Club Packs never unlock a higher Edition's Templates, Library or features. Club Packs from a payment that is refunded or charged back are not kept. Prices, renewal and cancellation are in section 9 of the Terms.

6. Restrictions

Except where this Agreement or the law expressly allows it, you may not:

7. Updates

Fixes and compatibility updates for your Edition are included for 12 months from Delivery (or from your order date, if you buy after Delivery). After that, your licence keeps working with the version you have. If we ever offer further updates for a fee, buying them is optional and never automatic. New templates, sounds and 3D packs come with the Club.

V LAB Studio runs inside Claude Desktop, so its long-term compatibility depends on Claude Desktop's extension support, which we don't control. We can't guarantee that every future change to Claude Desktop can be worked around.

8. Activations and licence checks

What is sent during these checks is described in the Privacy policy: your licence key and a random name for that activation, never your Mac's name.

9. Third-party components and services

10. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We, and our licensors, keep all rights in it that this Agreement doesn't expressly grant you.

11. End of the licence

The licence ends if your order is refunded or charged back. It also ends if you seriously breach this Agreement, for example by sharing or reselling the Software, and don't fix the breach within 14 days of our email asking you to. When the licence ends, you must stop using the Software and uninstall it. Outputs you made while your licence was valid remain yours, except Outputs made in breach of this Agreement.

12. Warranty, liability and law

Warranty and liability are governed by section 16 of the Terms, and nothing in this Agreement limits your statutory rights. This Agreement is governed by French law, with the consumer protections described in section 18 of the Terms.
